minecraft game
How do I get my minecraft game on to another computer? I started to play minecraft on my laptop and then I signed in on to my account on my families desktop and I noticed that my game had not transferred on to that computer even though i had saved it. Is there any way that I could get my minecraft games to work on multiple computers?

As far as I know there is no automatic way to transfer local world saves between accounts. You would need to manually copy the world folder each time you go somewhere else.

This is one advantage to having a server
. All state is stored on the server, and you can play from anywhere and see the same world (as can your friends, at the same time).

You could probably do it by changing your save location to the other computer through the network, but I would think it would be difficult for the average person to setup, and would probably be laggy somewhat. Or uses a network drive and set all pc's to connect to that drive.
Wonder if it's possible to set it up to save to a hosted service, but hell may as well rent an entire server.
