ok so i have a VDS server i installed ts3 server client on there and now im trying to register it on game tracker and it wont work the server is online the firewall is off and i white listed there server scan ip's so im not sure what els to do has any one els had a problem with this. and by the way its working for my arma server so i don't know why it wouldn't for ts3

Are you using the query port for your TS3 server and not the normal port? You can find the query port on the description tab in your control panel.

i did not see any thing under descrption tab saying about query

I just realized I misread your post and you are talking about a TS3 server you setup on your un-manged VDS.

When you setup the TS3 server did you define a query port? Are you running a firewall on the VDS that could be blocking the connection?

no i did not define a query port and no the firewal is turned off

You have a little work to do to get TS3 to work on gametracker.

You have to whitelist their ips, and turn on guest queries.

Also, staff might want to add a how to in the knowledge base with the above link for other customers to quickly reference.

yeah that link is no help whats so ever i go to start/run type telnet and it tells me "Windows cannot find "Telnet". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again."

ok so i found out how to install telnet but on can not get passed step 2 on the link you gave

ok so i got it to show u dont even have to remote desktop control on ur VDS you can fix it directly from ts3 clients





go to permissions then server groups. left hand side go to guest. in the middle go to virtual server and double click the ones i have shown in the picture above and have game tracker scan it. mines up now. http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/ ... .240:9987/


also u must have advance options enabled
