AdminMod Plugin Conversion

Post by The Governator »

Most if not all of the plugins posted on AdminMod.org are .sma files. To my understanding that file type works with the Windows OS, and should only be converted to a .amx file type when running a Linux OS. Now from what I can see my servers are running on a Windows OS. Only when I look at the plugins already installed on my server for both Amx & AdminMod, every one of them just so heppens to be .amx file types, Why is That :?: Would it be safe to assume that I could use both on a Windows OS server :?: This has been alittle mind boggling.

Thanks for the help,

.sma files are source code files. Regardless of whether the server is on Windows or Linux, they need to be compiled before they can be used. We have instructions on how to compile Admin Mod .sma files in our Admin Mod FAQ.
