Open up your Filezilla client and near the top select "server" once you have done that at the bottom will be an option to "Force showing hidden files" Select that
After you select Force showing hidden files you will get a popup message, go ahead and read this and then click ok. You will now be able to log in using Filezilla and view your hidden files like .htaccess.
