When can BF3 servers be upgraded to BF4
Curious to what timing the people with existing BF3 servers will be able to request an upgrade? If Cpanel access for pre-orders will possibly be available 24 hours in advance to allow setup, will the option from pre-order to instant install be available on the site? We do want to start the upgrade as early as possible and if hopefully before the game goes live.

Yes, as soon as the preordered servers are created, the system will be switched over to standard creations, and it will be possible to create new BF4 servers, both on managed dedicated servers/VDSes and through our regular hosting system. This will be a minimum of 24 hours out from the game's release in the US.
The BF4 release times for clients are given here: https://help.ea.com/article/battlefield ... e-schedule. This means that the earliest BF4 release to clients will be 8:01am PDT / 12:01pm EDT on Monday (in East Europe/Asia). Clients will start being able to play in the US at 9:01pm PDT / 12:01am EDT on Monday night/Tuesday morning.
