I am LOVING the game!

I did have some seemingly server-side lag on Chicago #95(CQ Large) at 64 players. Is this on a 2690 or higher?

The lag was rubber banding a bit, and lasted for 10 seconds at a time.

I had to work this morning so I couldn't play much, but I have tomorrow off ;)

If I remember correctly they're all on E5-2690V2's. Since we didn't know resource usage of the game, yet we were a little to optimistic of how many we could put on one of them. It also appears that BF4 isn't being spread out among all the cores. Likely just a bug in the beta that will be fixed later on. Either way, we quickly reduced the number of servers, so things should be running much better now.

DICE has some bugs in the server right now that are limiting performance. We're doing our best to compensate for these, though, including by adjusting the number of servers on each machine, how they're load-balanced between CPUs on the machine, and so on.

Are all NFO servers down for reconfiguring at the moment? My buddies and I were just on one and got booted off now I can't find any even when filtering NFO.

TimSad, we had to take all of them offline for a few minutes to apply a required game update, yes. This will likely be a relatively frequent occurrence during the beta, as DICE will be rapidly releasing new server versions.

Hey! Not even really sure if it's relate but... Ever since this server update was pushed out, Battle Reports have stopped showing up. Are they aware of this?

Domination in Chicago yesterday was really bad for freezing, rubberbanding, etc.

Same as BF3 when the beta started. Hopefully updates smooth that out.
