Okay, to close on this issue. If the mailbox accounts in a given custom domain for hotmail.com (outlook.com) are not activated in a certain time period. Then the error that you get is invalid mailbox. After the mailbox is activated then it works fine. Thanks to all that helped on this thread. -SGTGu...

That is correct. Everything is running through hotmail. No nfoservers mailboxes.
