I do not recommend starting with the highest package on a VDS. You should start with the smallest package that you think you might actually need, since you can easily upgrade from there if it turns out that you need more.
Servers in our managed system aren't automatically restarted for using 80 ...

I recently purchased the highest package available: Twelve core: Our current top plan.
Twelve full, dedicated HT CPU cores (Nehalem or better)
12288 MB of RAM
1000 GB of RAID-protected storage
24000 GB of InterNAP bandwidth transfer
and have had my first issue today.
I do not know much about VDS ...
