host_timer_spin_ms
In CSS this command has been known to help achieve stable server FPS. It seems that it keeps the server from going into hibernation, thus preventing inconsistencies in server FPS, which leads to better performance in hit registry. However, it does raise CPU usage. This command is not available in cs...

Enable FPSbooster.exe for SRCDS?
It is true valve has locked FPS to 66, but I have noticed when using net_graph 3, and enabling the booster the small graph at the bottom is more smooth (straight horizontal blue, less red spikes), which in the past has always been guideline for me to assume my server is running more smooth and stabl...

How to setup name servers windows 2003
Hi I recently bought a domain, lets call it domain.com. I then just bought a VPS from NFO and I want to have it so my ip address is replaced with domain.com. I installed the DNS service, but I have no idea how to create nameservers through to get this to work. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have...

Re: Stable FPS Issue.
Yeah that is why I found the FPS issue a bit odd. I have discovered in the past that these server types require more FPS and CPU to run smoothly. Like if u cap zombie at fps_max 100, it isnt smooth, there are spikes. However, even when capping it my FPS is stable not stable on all servers only 1 tha...

Re: Stable FPS Issue.
Here is a screenshot: http://www.ftd-clan.com/users/vasili/screen.jpg
And if we cannot diagnose this and we do a transfer, will my IPs remain the same? Changing IPs is worse than FPS, I would almost love the just buy the whole box, from NFO than do that lol.
Thanks

Re: Stable FPS Issue.
Well rather than retype this info out again, I have a information page with all our server info.
Even if you look right now, the heavier servers (zm/rpg) are empty and this issue as still present.

Thanks,
Vasili.

Re: Stable FPS Issue.
All right no servers are maxing out, yet FPS can only be stable on one server, at a time.
Should I be using something other than srcdsbooster.

Re: Stable FPS Issue.
All right I will have to get back to you when my servers fill up. I was doing some mod updates and other stuff today, so I had a bit of downtime.

Re: Stable FPS Issue.
There is suppose to be a period after "3GB". I missed it. This may confuse people. I am unable to edit posts so.vasili wrote:Ram is only being used at 30% of my 3GB In order to get my competitive pub to have stable FPS, I have to set that server to a higher priority.

Stable FPS Issue.
Hi there I am currently running 4 servers on my VPS through NFO. My CPU is >50% almost all the time, however, my server FPS is fluctuating on my servers. Ram is only being used at 30% of my 3GB In order to get my competitive pub to have stable FPS, I have to set that server to a higher priority. It ...

Re: Fast Download VPS Question
I have fixed the issue by installing windows default http server. It worked perfectly fine and upload speeds are great.
I followed this guide if anyone needs assistance in this matter:
