The main problem that people might see with something like this is the main server renter, has a bad day, and takes away admin rights to the people that have paid their share for that month. To be perfectly honest I wouldnt share the rental fee with anyone outside my family, or imediate area. That's...

Seattle?

I feel like I've been waiting forever for my finances to open up a little bit so I can get a server. I keep coming back and checking out prices and things. I noticed that there is a sale on the LA servers, however; I live in northern Alaska on an AFB, and LA is a little far away for my liking(ping)....

Okay, since you won't research that website Edge provided, here's the jist of it. To run a server, you need AT LEAST 64kbs UPLOAD per player slot. If you have a 20 player server your upload needs to be at least 1.2m UP(bare minimum). You still need some down speed, but it wont affect t...

server pop

The best way is consistency, and EXTREMELY popular maps and people LOOOOVE stats, and plugins that show them ingame. About 6 months ago there was a server called Y&M Cali ScoutzKnivez 24/7. Night and Day that server was full. It wasn't cluttered up with stupid Dice Rolling, or pointless plugins....

Been browsing around, and i would have him send you his autoexec.cfg, config.cfg, the ones in his Cstrike folder, and valve folder, for some settings the valve configs override the cstrike configs I.E. cl_cmdrate etc. *edit* that is if it hasnt been fixed already. I was under the impression that a "HACK" is something that manipulates or changes the natural process of events(pc wise). I could even be a little off as to the definition. If using a script to bunny hop(pushing/hitting crouch and jump keys with the right timing) is hacking/cheating, then ...

Seattle Ping.

I'm asking alot of questions because last time I rented a server I didnt ask any, and I got royally screwed. I live up in Fairbanks Alaska, and there are absolutley no server hosting companies up here. When I ping 66.150.160.134 (Seattle InterNAP) at home, I get an average ping of 61. Is this a reli...

Adding Player numbers?

If I get a 12 man server, and at a later date wish to make it a bigger or lower number, how easy is that, and can it be done?
