Also tested, Battleye initializes when the server is launched, the server browser in ArmA says battleye is enabled, but RCON still refuses to connect..=QUACK=.Major.Pain wrote:If it's running, you should be able to connect with remote desktop using your server ip or 127.0.0.1
That would bypass any firewall issues.

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
Any luck? Added the parameters "-config=TA2DST\ACEACREChernarus\TA2DST_config.cfg" "-cfg=TA2DST\ACEACREChernarus\TA2DST_basic.cfg" "-profiles=TA2DST\ACEACREChernarus\" I deleted the Battleye folder and the folder was recreated on start up, which I took back down to add...

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
Was wondering, have you tried using BerCon on the server through remote desktop, and see if you can connect to: IP=yourserverip Port=yourserverport PW=yourserverbattleyepw And also try using 127.0.0.1 as the server ip if the first isn't working. Just retried it with both IP's, no luck with BerCon. ...

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
I am downloading the tool myself to play around with it. I only play on Dayz so hopefully I can see how it works. It's a good tool, but I don't think it has anything to do with the server tool. Battleye is working and initializing when I run the server, I don't see why RCON shouldn't connect but it...

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
Can you post the complete command line. "-cfg=TA2DST\ACEACREChernarus\TA2DST_basic.cfg" "-config=TA2DST\ACEACREChernarus\TA2DST_config.cfg" I'm pretty sure they are already loaded on to the server without setting them in the parameters. But I attempted it anyway with no success ...

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
Looking at your first post, it shows BE as enabled and starting. It looks like it's not reading your .cfg file to get the BE password. You also mention multiple servers running out of the same directory. Your probably going to need separate config files for each server. With DayZ servers, we have o...

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
BEserver.cfg needs to go in the "cfg/BattlEye" folder, which should be auto-created by the game when the server is started (it will put a copy of the BEServer.dll file there). For you, this should be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\cfg\BattlEye". If you put it...

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
Make sure your VDS isn't overloaded. If it is, that can make it impossible for it to connect. Also passwords are case sensative. Have you tried using BerCon to try and connect? This should provide a good test to see if it can connect. The VDS is not overloaded, even with 1 server up with 0 players,...

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
What are the contents of your BEserver.cfg file? Where are you putting it on the server? RConPassword ********* MaxPing 200 We have this in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\BattlEye" and in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\TA2DST\ACEACREChernarus\B...

Yes, the servers IP matches with the same IP I'm connecting remotely through.kraze wrote:Is your server correctly bound to your VDS's IP?

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
The exact name is "Capture traffic to/from your server IP" on the "Firewall" tab in your control panel. Found it this time, I attempted to connect to the rcon and hitting capture right after the error "could not connect" came up, my IP did not show up in the detailed a...

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
Look at the firewall tab in your control panel. When you connect click the "grab traffic" button and then look for your IP. This will allow you to see if the connection is being made. I would recommend you do this when no one else is making connections to the server. I do not see anything...

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
I still cannot connect to RCON with windows firewall on or off, but I'm not running any firewall other than that.
How would I go about doing that?kraze wrote:Have you tried grabbing traffic to your VDS when you are attempting to connect to the server to see if it is coming in at all?

Re: Battleye works, But RCON refuses to
Yes its a VDS, but I do not understand what a "unmanaged VDS" is.
