i was banned from a mirc server for help it was /join #nfo.

We were just trying to keep the channel clear of idle users, this helps us discern between who needs help and who has already been helped. It is only a temporary ban (just a couple of seconds) to prevent people with automatic rejoin scripts from coming back immediately after they are kicked.
