IRC on GameSurge

Post by Nick|NFo »

irc.gamesurge.net will connect you to GameSurge IRC Network where we can help you LIVE in

Simply use a program like mIRC, http://www.mirc.com, and in the prompt type:

GameSurge
/server irc.gamesurge.net
/join #nfo-support

mIRC Tutorial: http://rentalforums.nuclearfallout.net/ ... php?t=1531

or you can use one of these handy links for mIRC, irc://irc.gamesurge.net/nfo-support

if you want to use either JAVA link (must have java VM):

http://www.gamesurge.net/chat/nfo-support

Hours: You can find someone active in the channel between our hours of operation (9-12AM PST). Best to email us at rentals@nfoe.net with questions during the late hours.

Anyone that is in the channel with an @ next to their name is fully authorized by NuclearFallout to assist you with your server.

If you would like to idle and show your support, idle in #nuclearfallout

If you plan to regularly visit GameSurge (which is something I'd recommend if you have a competitive team, since it's the best way to meet and talk to other teams), I suggest you use our specific GameSurge server:

/server NuclearFallout.WA.US.GameSurge.net

Or

/server irc.nuclearfallout.net

Our server is very stable and more resistant to DDoS attacks than others on the GameSurge network, thanks to our Seattle network infrastructure.

If your provider blocks standard connections to IRC (as some universities do), you can usually use this to get around it:

/server NuclearFallout.WA.US.GameSurge.net:5960
