Pyschostats (cycling through)

Our members have started using a tag in the server and pyschostats doesn't show this change. Do I have to reset the stats or will the old stats eventually drop off and start showing new member name + tag? If the old stats drop off, how long until it cycles?

It determines a player's name based on what he uses the most in the history of the stats, which by default go back 180 days. The longer they play with the new tag, the more likely it will be to show up.

You could also reset the stats manually, or change "historymaxdays" in your stats.cfg file, to force it to be recognized sooner.

Old stats will eventually drop off and I believe the cycle time is 180 days by default. This can be changed by editing stats.cfg in the /compile folder on your stats FTP

On a final note, if you do not want to wait for it to change, you can log in using psychostats admin to set it to the player name you wish. Log in and go to the player you wish to change the name for, click on edit besides their name.

In the fields below, change the following the way you wish to have it displayed:

Lock Player Name:
(If the name is locked it will never be automatically changed by stats updates.)
Player Name:
(The player name is what will appear in the player listings.)

Setup steamid with password first on your stats manager, then setup steamid with access level. Each step should show your name and steamid, along with other data at the top of the page.

Then simply hit login on your psychostats page in the upper right hand corner. Enter steamid for login and the password you selected for pass.

I did this prior to my last post, but I get an error when I log in "Authorization Failed: Invalid Login or Password".
