in relation to admins are being banned by server
i was told to go and use the irc but it is not working and i can not get in u said it would to know the game its counter strike condition zero server and i still cannot unban my amdin ive tried amx_unban and then their steam id then ive gone into the ftp and erased all banned ppl and re upload and type am_rcon exec banned.cfg and nuthin is workin
Its possible they are banned by IP, not steamid. Also if you are using amxmodx, go amx_unban "STEAM_0:XXXXXX" to unban, replacing the X's with corresponding numbers.
If you are going to clear the banned.cfg, shut down your server first, clear the banned.cfg, leave a space or line to save the file correctly with no errors. Then start up the gameserver. You can also try this process with listip.cfg, which lists all the IP bans.
At last resort, go to server control tab and try listid, which will list all the steamids banned in memory as well as listip, which will list all the ips banned in memory.
You can also use a program such as hlsw to look at the banned list and remove bans.
As for IRC, try this java client: http://www.gamesurge.net/chat/nfo-support If you cannot connect using mIRC or other client.
