is this possible in source yet or they havent added this option and probally never will?

My guess is they will add it when VAC2 comes out.

With CS:S, Valve has tended to implement the big features first and worry about the details later.

Seems like they havent created the little banners under the normal game loading status bar. I suppose they'll need to do that when VAC2 comes out. Anyway, its just a guess.
