recompile
is there a way to recompile .sma through ftp for amxmodx?
You can't do it through the FTP, but the compilation process is really simple.
Download our amxx v1.x compiler here: http://files.nfoe.net/download.php?fnam ... odx1-0.zip
and follow the instructions.txt in the zip.

this would be the current stable version. amxx 1.50 is out, but marked as beta so i wouldnt recommend to use it yet. also amxx 1.50 needs metamod 1.18 to work, which isnt released yet. alternatively you could use metamodp instead, dunno if nfo allows to replace mm with mmp for single servers (just asked support for this
)

We just upgraded our cstrike servers this morning to metamod-p so feel free to run AMXX 1.50 now. We are waiting for the final version to be released soon (AMXX developer told us approx a week after beta release) and then we will start supporting that version. We will add it to auto install on the control panel and assist anyone that needs help in upgrading through our support mediums.
We do not allow people to play around with their metamod installations currently as we hide the metamod.dll from FTP as well as liblist.gam. This prevents people from accidently deleting essential metamod files as well as potentially hurting their own server and other servers on the box with an invalid installation. We are always on top of new versions of metamod and do extensive testing of them first before rolling them out to all servers.
