With another company pulling their CSS support, whats the likelyhood that NFO servers becoming swamped with new customers/players?

Our spare capacity can easily absorb any customers migrating from that provider.

We'd only be giving back all of the clients who left you in the first place.

We see clients leave for primarily these reasons:

1. Money. Many times the person can't afford the server. This is far and away the most common reason for cancellations.
2. Clan breakups. This is very common also and leads to many private server cancellations. Often the person cancelling will come back soon afterward to rent a server for his or her new clan.
3. Clients that temporarily leave us due to what seems to be a better offer from another company, often motivated by direct contact from another provider's representative and by what the client believes to be lower prices or higher performance. These clients invariably come back when the other company fails, raises prices substantially, or does not live up to its marketing hype.

laws_69, I've never heard of anyone leaving us for the company you claim to represent, although we've received numerous customers from your company (customers who were very, very glad to have found us). If you did have a former customer of ours, I would suspect that this customer falls solidly under category #3.

If you have further comments in this vein, please let me know and I'll create a new forums category for you. In this forum, we have a low tolerance for unsubstantiated and inflammatory assertions. Our Flames forum doesn't apply well to you since you are not a customer nor have you experienced our service in any way.

At this point I'll be removing the specific company references in this topic. These forums are not for advertising and we prefer to keep comparisons to other providers to a minimum -- there are better places for such discussions.

Comments like these are perfect examples of the poor business sense and resulting poor customer service I have received at other hosting companies. I've hosted many places and NEVER have I received the level of service I have received here. I'll never host anywhere else again provided I continue to receive the excellent service I have been receiving in the past year and a half I've been here.

actually i am a present customer, and notice minimal lag at peak hours, but i was just wonder if you guys get swamped if you would be more apt to overload the computers or just declare a location full.

When we near our capacity at a particular location, we simply send more hardware to that location. In our history we have not ever had to declare a location full -- we've always been able to keep up on our new hardware purchases.
