talking in cs

hey can anybody help me i cant talk in game on cs mic works on vent but not in game,

Make sure your mic is all setup in the game options under "Voice" tab. You can test by talking to yourself by enabling the voice_loopback cvar, do voice_loopback 1 in the console to enable.

ok tried loopback it was at 0 put it at 1 still nothing any other ideas thx for the help

Loopback is just to test, it will not enable anything related to voice other than just spam whatever you say back to you. Default is 0.

You should check voice cvars such as sv_voiceenable 1 and others. If you looked at the mic options page, that and other cvars are set via that menu too. Also make sure you are not using vent and ingame at the same time, ie same bind when running both programs.

yea i went into config files everything that is enabled should be dont use the 2 together so who knows i guess i dont talk in game, good for everybody else thx for the help.
