Codec for Mac OSX 10.3 users

Ventrilo has finally released the client application for Mac users and we have someone we would like to get connected to the server we rent from you. However, it says the server is missing the codec for her to login. I just was wondering how to go about getting our server updated with the codec or curious if it is updating the servers is something you are already in the process of working on.

The server does not need to be updated since it is actually the client that needs to be updated. Currently the mac client is a prototype (Version 2.3.2.Prototype.6) and in this release, the client does not include the GSM codec. You need to switch to the speex codec on the ventrilo server for the mac user to be able to use the server. You can change the codec on the easy setup page of your ventrilo control panel.
