Server Scrimming Problems.

Alright. First off server is running admind mod. I exec cal.cfg. then lo3.cfg thts all i need for scrim right? well anyways. how do i get rid of the "attacker" and "victims" that show up after the player dies? im sure its not allowed in cal. but i dont noe how 2 get rid of it. Plus. in the middle of the scrim. it will usually pop up TIME TO CHOOSE NEXT MAP. lol. so i put admin_timelimit 99999999999999999 wen tht happens. but it still changes map. how do i fix/change this? and do i have to run pregame.cfg (what is tht) ?

It would be a good idea to disable metamod all together before you start your scrims. You can do this in the control panel on the 'server control' page by changing the server DLL to 'Plain game DLL' and then restarting the server.
Then, you can just use rcon to exec your cfg's.
  • rcon exec pregame.cfg (this sets the startmoney to 16000 to allow people to purchase guns so you can warm up before the scrim begins.)
    rcon exec cal.cfg (this sets all the official CAL settings so that everyone is on a level playing ground)
    rcon exec lo3.cfg (this restarts the round 3 times and signifies that the scrim has gone 'live')

Thanks Man. Alright, 1 more question so i dont neeed 2 set admin_timelimit 99999 ? if im chaning it 2 plain game?

If you change it to plain game DLL, admin mod will be completely disabled. You won't have to worry about it interfering with your game, and admin_timelimit will not be a valid command.

I tested it out. It still has problems. the time 2 choose map thing is gone. but every 15 rounds. it either restarts or changes map. why?

It is because in the default cal.cfg there is a cvar called mp_maxrounds and its set to 15. Change it to look like mp_maxrounds 0. Problem solved :)
