Setting up the IRC Scorebot

I would like to get the IRC score bot set up but have a question... aside from idling our channel I'm an irc newb...sry

Our Server: nm.nuclearfallout.net
Our Channel: #NIGHTMARE on Gamesurge

Now my question, I edited the "settings.cfg" in the /ircbot directory and set the the channel to "NIGHTMARE" but I'm confussed on these 2:

1) botpass "checkpass" //should I change this or leave as default?
2) nick "newbot" //can I change this to "scorebot" or should I leave it alone?

Any help for the irc the challenged? Thanks, Yankee

You should change the botpass as thats the password you can use to control it (commands can be found in the ircbot/txt/ folder on your FTP)

The nick is the name of the scorebot you want on IRC. You can use any series of letters and numbers and _ - . [ ]. Any other character used will prevent the bot from connecting to IRC.

Make sure you leave the Server line alone in the settings.cfg.
