SERVER DOWN ANY ASSISTANCE WOULD BE NICE!!

so i was uploading maps onto the server through ie ftp while i was uploading i got an error message ... So i went into the server and attempted to change it to the map that was uploading and sure enough now it went down, and has not come back up... I am unable to log into control panel at all to even reset it pls let me know what i can do in this situation i would like to have the server back up so that no one knows what happened lol ... thanks alot the server ip is 66.151.138.66:27015..

Our automatic restart script brought the server back online before this post. When you crash the server, you need to hit stop then start on the control panel. You crashed the server due to a missing wad needed for the map you tried to play:

L 03/08/2006 - 02:13:04: FATAL ERROR (shutting down): WARNING: couldn't open fydust.wad

Basically, you need to have that fydust.wad and any other associated map files (other wads, models, sprites, etc) for fy_dustworld in order to play the map.

Since you have a CS 1.6 server, all these maps are installed for you already. All these files will be hidden on your FTP and if you install files related to these, you will get get a FTP error since you can't overwrite them.

Thanks now i have a question when we are typing text in the server many letters come up missing and It will not let me log into my control panel right now, ever since that error uploading is there a way you could reset the server, for me since I cannot acces the control panel to do so...???
