Damaging the server?

This is used for general discussion that is not necessarily server-related.

Damaging the server?

Post by 47. »

I expierince some registration with my NFo server. The first week everything seemed to be good, but it seems as if things have gone down hill. I like how easy it is to use, and setup and the customer service is fast and reliable. I am thinking about putting on the hyper accelerator but, the info you provide with it states that "it's much harder on the server hardware." Do I have to pay for the server if it gets damaged. What exactly happens if it gets damaged and how often do the servers get damaged? And will it make a difference in ping as well?

Any feed back would be helpfull.

We haven't been having any problems with registration lately that I'm aware of, and in fact our systems should be performing even better than usual due to the off-season's reduced usage and our continual hardware upgrades. Your problems could be due to any number of issues, from plugins, to routing, to server settings. So, you should definitely contact us to ask about it.

The hyperaccelerator uses more CPU power than the standard accelerator and non-acceleration, which is why it is priced a bit higher. It does not increase the likelihood of damage to the actual server hardware, and you would not have to pay us anything if the hardware broke down.

Wow that was a fast reply. How do you maintain a girlfriend with speed like that? Lol, just kidding.

We don't run any pluggins on our server. What should our server settings be for optimal performance? (We currently have the ping accelerator on the server).
