Hi everyone,
First time poster here....I am interested in renting a server for CS but my question is, when I do pay the fee, how soon thereafter is my CS server setup? Additionally, is there anything that I have to do to get the server going? (aside from the in-game admin controls).
Basically is there any sort of coding or customizations out of game that I would have to do?
Or is it as simple as...heres you're money...and here is my server...go play.

The server comes setup optimally, but you could make a few tweaks to gameplay settings if you wanted. No coding knowledge is needed to run a gameserver. There are several plugins that you can download and use on your gameserver which are coded by programmers for your use. You can see the amxmodx ones here at their forums. Most people order the ping accelerator (level 1), but those that can afford and are looking for the best possible server from us typically get the hyperaccelerator; it's the "top of the line" gameserver.swave08 wrote:How neccessary is the hyperaccellerator for a CS server? NFo has awesome support in most cases. I have the accelerator on my server because it helps gameplay ALOT! NFo, I feel is the best game server provider; from a technological point of view, a customer service point of view, and a economical point of view. Let's just say, "They override the statement, 'you get what you pay for' into 'you get far more than you pay for.'"

Interested As Well
I am currently looking into renting servers from NFO for my clan, for a few reasons. I have asked around and the more experienced players always seem to bring up NFO somewhere along the line, by reading the forums NFO seems to be good with customer support and the host i have now (clanservers.com) well lets just say i am sick of them screwing up.
