denver servers?

Post by trevor »

ok, I ping 60 to a denver server but for some reason in nuclearfallouts which my team has, my ping switches constantly. one day it'll be 55-60 then the next its 100-110? WHY? scares me. and its quite annoying and i have no clue why it does this, is there any way to keep it under 60 and not switch all the time?

Denver is an odd location because there is little peering there, and InterNAP's automatic systems sometimes have difficulty making optimal route selections. If you email us a copy of your tracert to and from the server during both periods (when you are having the problem and when you are not having the problem), we can look into it and see whether this applies to you. If so, it is something that we can have them permanently fix for your IP block.

Our customer service email is rentals @ nuclearfallout.net. Preferably send us both, but if you don't have both, that's OK.
