mysql

Post by beemer101 »

ok i'm updating the php-nuke's installation of the forum module. with the latest phpbb download. i've copied it over, and now during the install procedure, it asks me for the database type.

as it is right now, i know extremely little about databasing, or how it is setup.

am i supposed to choose a specific type that NFO currently uses?

or is it completely up to me? if so please recommend one of the available:

mysql 3/4/5

postgreSQL 7

ms access

or ms sql server

just totally lost at this point.

thanks,

Beemer

We have a Mysql 4.0.x server. You will find the login information on the Website tab of the control panel.
