New to NFO

Hi all,

I just had a few questions maybe you all could answer from me. First off Im coming from game servers and i was very disappointed with them.

Well my question is we want to get a server here on NFO but its only going to be a 12 slot server. Will people still come to are server being that its only 12 slots or will that make people stray away from it.

Also whats some good methods of geting are server name out there. Because we had a 12 slot 100tick public on game servers and no one ever came even when we sat in there for 2-3 hours.

You could advertise on forums, maybe on IRC (keep within reason of the IRC network's rules on advertising or the channel rules), as well as entertain those regulars with a fun environment that makes them want to add your ip and come back as a regular. Once people see players in the server on their favorites list, they will rejoin if they are looking to pub.

When I owned my NuclearFallout server it didn't take that long to fill up( probably like 20-30 minutes). Your 12 slot server will fill up but I think if you add more slots more people would want to play on it in my opinion.

your trying to compete with clans who have 32 slot servers, but its not really about competition its about fun. Invite some friends and play in it frequently then people should start coming in
