Server Mod Suggestions

Do you guys have any server mod suggestions for counter-strike source and Call of Duty 2?

I've never ran any COD servers before but I've heard SourceMod, and Eventscript are very good, but be aware this mods sometimes may cause your server to act weird (lag,choke,ect..) It won't lag or mess anything up as long as you do a proper installation.

I would have put mani mod down but It seems mani been very busy and it looks like he may not be able to provide anymore updates for a while.

i am not sure, what do you mean with mod.
admin mod, or game mod.

i could recommend BAP (Basic Admin Plugin) which already gives you nice option to administer your server.
or sourcemod (in beta status at the moment).
also beetlemod or mani are good. mani is not further developed anymore, but still usable.

gamemod are difficult. gungame or warcraft are the bigger ones. but personally, its hard to gather players for them or you have nice admins who populate your server to help it grow.
