I have played at a particular server for some time now, unfortunately the owner for his reasons feels it is time to shut down the server. I have talked to him about taking over payments for the server but he has already canceled his subscription . What I want to know is it possible to rent the server ip after his server subscription is up ?
It's possible, but we would need to wait the 2 weeks for it to expire from our systems unless we have his permission to release it sooner. If he's still amenable to letting you take over the payments, we could still do that, as well.
Also what about keeping the same settings and mods ? Would you be able to release the info of settings and mods ? I would like to keep it the same as much as I can. With a few exceptions like the name and other small details I don’t have the rights to.
