Hey I have a couple of questions. Sorry if im not supposed to put this here but I guess it's too late. The last server I bought was at another host. It was great with the ping but the main deal I had was how long it took to come up in the refresh box. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy a server here but I just want to make sure. Do you know if these servers pop up quickly? And BTW I LOVE the online support.. I mean DAMN! great idea.

If you're referring to a Steam-based server, then when it turns up in the refresh window depends on what your IP is and what the server's IP is.
If your IP is 24.24.24.24, for instance, your game client will search for 24.x.x.x servers first, then 25.x.x.x and 23.x.x.x, then 26.x.x.x and 22.x.x.x, etc. The further the first digit of the server's IP is from yours, the longer it will take to show up in the list.
This scheme doesn't really make any sense, but it's the way Valve's system works.

Most of our servers are on 66.x.x.x or 64.x.x.x IPs and that's about as good as you can get. But, unfortunately, so many cheap, low-quality, and empty servers have flooded the market at every level now that servers everywhere rarely get many players unless there is a vibrant group of regulars supporting them.
You do realize if you put the command "heartbeat" in your server.cfg a few times it'll help make sure your server shows up. You can run that in game with amx_rcon heartbeat to make it show up. Also your server will show up based on the person's own priority categorization. If they have server on top the servers will show up in alphabetical order. If they have ping it'll show up that way. If they have players it'll show up with the most players.
If you want people to come to your server just having it be known its an NFO server helps. Also people usually just go to the server that has the most people and gives them the lowest ping. Many times almost all servers are empty at a certain point in the day and someone or a few people decide which empty server to go to. It's up to you to figure out how to get people to be loyal to yours and join your empty server first so that its like a domino effect of then others joining cuz they see ppl in yours and join it.
