Mod Question

Sorry if this has been posted, I looked around a little bit for the answer... but couldn't find it.

Just bought a server for the first time here at NFO, thanks guys! But I was wondering how I could install the uwc3 (ultimate warcraft 3) mod on it... I have no idea where to even start so any help would be wonderful.

Oh also, if anyone can answer this... I see that you have to put the maps you want in the map slots in "Easy Setup"

Which maps can I choose? Just the ones from the original HL .gfc file, or can I add custom maps or what?

uwc3 info can be found at http://www.wc3mods.net

You can place whatever maps you want in your mapcycle, provided you have uploaded that custom map to the game server via ftp

Help nick, I just decided to install the WC3FT and I followed everything it said to do... I was using Web CEO to upload the files through FTP... now the server is completely down... help me out here!!

Oh btw... I went into Control Panel > File Manager and then amxmodx/configs/modules.ini and took the semicolon off of MySQL... then it went down. I put the semicolon back on and restarted the server, it's still not working.

whit3powd4house is the name if that helps.

Oh, I'm sorry, I got it. I just had to delete the .amxx file. Just had to think a little on my own. =P

My guess is that you were missing models, you must upload all models or it will have a fatal error and crash on startup. Logs will show this

i.e don't use something that precaches files if you don't have those files on your server in the specified directory.
