Not sure if alot of people know this, so I just thought I would post to help others out. Those who like using RDP for windows because of it's better responsiveness should check out FreeNX for linux. It's basically RDP for linux.

The site includes CentOS specific instructions to install FreeNX.
There are also Gentoo instructions, as well as most other distributions.
