Best settings for TS3?

Post by IcEWoLF »

Hi John, could you share the best settings to run Teamspeak 3 server?
Sometimes people cut in and out, not sure why.

Mine for the bandwidth is all at -1.

For the most part, we run TS3 pretty much out of the box (with a ton of management wrappers around it, but they don't affect the server itself). I can't think of any particular performance adjustment that we've had to make to it.

But, I've only run the Linux server version.

Hey John, any idea how I update my teamspeak 3 server?
When I download the files and overwrite my current files...well it won't let me connect to my server.
But when I restore my old files it works fine.
Any idea?
I am running build 17, current build is 20.

I haven't yet had time to investigate that here, so I do not know. I would hope that it would be a matter of replacing the executable.
