Adding an IP to the OS

i just got a new IP added to my account however i dont know how to add it to the OS itself so that i can utilize the IP for a server

I could prolly write a how to guide on this John :) one for linux and one for windows.

I've been avoiding doing that so far because I don't want anyone to see the guide and try to adjust IPs by hand outside of an upgrade procedure. Right now we just explain it through the support request system when needed.

I'm still debating whether it should be done.
