Hey I'm fairly new to this website stuff. Long story short- Im trying to use Drupal to set up my main webpage.
The problem is that i'm being asked to download an update, a security update to be more specific. I have no problem downloading it. My problem is what to do with that download? It seems to want to be put directly into my harddrive. I dont know what to open it with though? Thanks!

Re: Drupal
It looks like they make it somewhat complicated: http://drupal.org/upgrade
If you're using the autoinstaller and it's making you do this afterward, we can work on updating the autoinstaller for you, instead, to save you the trouble. If that's the case, please shoot us a "Help!" message and I'll work on it personally.

Re: Drupal
Do I shoot that "Help" message here...? Haha- yeah I figure I fall under the minor upgrade. It seems to be a simple security update but the download comes in a file type I apparently cant open. The site, if I understood correctly, states to view the UPDATE.txt file but I cant access it! I'd really appreciate that help dude! Thanks!
Re: Drupal
I meant through the actual "Help!" link in the control panel, but I can work on updating the autoinstaller based on what you said here as well.Dark Deity wrote:Do I shoot that "Help" message here...?

Re: Drupal
I'm still getting that notification when I get to the Drupal site
. Should I delete that domain and redo it?

Re: Drupal
Did you reinstall by deleting your files and wiping the database, then using the autoinstaller again?
