Domain name pointing

Post by mackry »

I'm trying to point a domain name I have "mydomain.com" to my VPS server. I have my domain name servers set to ns1.nfoservers.com and ns2.nfoservers.com but I don't see a way to set-up domains from the control panel.

Thanks

If you have webhosting here, you can use our DNS service to point a subdomain of that domain at any IP, via an "A" record. To do this, use the tool on the "Domains" page in the website's control panel.

If you don't have webhosting here, you'd need to either run your own DNS server on the VDs, or use a 3rd party DNS service. In reference to the latter, registrars often provide DNS service for free, and there are also some websites that provide it for free, like http://www.everydns.net.
