small issues.

So ive bought my server which i want to make a public jail server out of.
now i dont know why but when i open my own server at home with the exact same plugins and maps theres not a second the server is empty
but when i set my dedicated server up with the excact same stuff
nobody would join i could join through the console typing the "connect" command but i couldnt find it when i searched through "Find Servers" and neither could my friends and when i finally joined my ping was 200 and it was complete laggy
but as far as i know i normally run 20 - 50 ping

could it be because i live in denmark (close to germany) because it was supposed to be a danish public jail clan server but it just wouldnt work properly

If you live far from our server, that would explain the high pings. Did you go with the NYC location (it should be closest to the EU)?

ya but it still doesnt explain why nobody joins it was free to acess like my own
server at home but can i switch from seattle (premium) to NYC (InterNAP)
immediately or do i need to wait till next month im on the free trial right now

Valve serves the master list order by location, so it's very possible that you are seeing a local affect because there might not be many servers in your region. But, also, what game type is this? If CS 1.6, we might have to downgrade the version for it to show up properly in the in-game browser.

else ill just have to find a server closer to my location

If you find that changing the location resolves th ping/lag issue, but does not resolve it showing in the list, please let us know and we'll see if there is something else we can figure out.
