Aliight, came across this issue here, and considering it might benefit others (unless I am a dumbass and did something wrong) I am gonna post here for discussion.
I installed Zblock through the autoinstaller and ran into some problems (not a surprise given the recent update to CS engine) but this one was rather huge as it would not allow me to connect for more than a couple seconds, stating I had an issue with the DXlevel (which is BS btw as I am running it at the highest I believe).
So now I am thinking that maybe the autoinstaller may have gotten something wrong, so I went to the actual site to DL the file and compare side by side with what was on the server to troubleshoot.
What I found was that on the autoinstaller (did it twice to make sure) it didn't include a zBlock cfg file, while the one from the site did. It also didn't include any changes to the server.cfg file (I thought that it would have as there was no zBlock.cfg, there would have been something in server.cfg) but nothing.
Okay, so:
1: Not sure what is going on with the autoinstaller, but it isn't a huge deal (as zBlock still does in fact run it seems) just seemed a bit odd to see files missing.
2: The big issue at hand, DXlevel seeming to be not registering. I don't recall using any copies of zBlock in the past, and only gave it a shot because so many people have recommended it. I have disabled and removed it from my server. Regarding the info I found regarding this issue, it all basically suggests to force the DXlevel on CS by using the "mat_dxlevel" console command (which did not work for me.
There is also a suggestion to add it to the CS command line at startup, although I haven't tested that one as I decided to give up on this particular piece of software.
Anyways, just wanted to post my findings as the new engine update to CS may have other server owners banging their heads against the wall.

Re: zblock (counterstrike source)
This is something that was updated in RC2 of zBlock, which was just released yesterday, and which we rolled out last night to all autoinstall base folders. If your VDS was being created yesterday while we were rolling things out, that would explain why you might have had an old version installed on your game server, and why you didn't receive the zblock.cfg file. You shouldn't have this problem today, since I've run another check now to force all VDSes to get the latest version.
Re: zblock (counterstrike source)
I installed once last night and once today, both with the cfg file missing, although it didnt seem to matter as it still loaded and ran (which means it had to be somewhere, right?) but hidden or something.
I will install it once more to double check, and post back the results as well as a screenshot (if that will help at all, and if not, you all can sit back and laugh at the newb

Re: zblock (counterstrike source)
Sorry for double post, it wont let me edit my previous one.
Alright, installing from autoinstaller now does work and files are loaded correctly (double checked through external FTP client) so not sure what previous issue was (as I am not getting the DX issue any longer either).
Stranger yet, I downloaded this same file (the RC2) from their site, shouldn't this have done the same thing (fix the issues)? Or could it have been that I missed a file somewhere when I was removing old traces of the previous autoinstall, which kept it from actually updating to the RC2?
Relearning all this is quite fun, although it has me calling myself a newb quite a bit!
Oh, and as this thread is pretty much worthless now (will probably only confuse people instead of help them) you can delete it if you want.

Re: zblock (counterstrike source)
No worries, and I'm glad it's working now
