Re: Need help asap.
use file manager on the control panel to upload cal.cfg into the main directory. upload, then just browse your computer for cal.cfg and upload it directly to the server. Do not forget to set the rcon password in the cal.cfg as well.[MM]Muktuk-McVeigh wrote:#1. Where do I put this new CALSERV zip for windows? If you are using ftp, just click on the link provided in file manager, you will be in the main directory. Just copy the file off your desktop and paste into that directory.
you go to file manager, go to ftp link again. Once you see all the folders of directories, double click on the maps folder, then copy the maps you want off your computer, then paste into that folder.#2. Where and how do I upload maps? Thx from the server n00b mcveigh.
You are set!

its not the cal.cfg, it is something to replace wwcl as a cfg blocker type thing that is now required by cal. here is the link:

bah I swear I just visited that place like an hour ago.[MM]Muktuk-McVeigh wrote:its not the cal.cfg, it is something to replace wwcl as a cfg blocker type thing that is now required by cal. here is the link:

ya then yes just follow the instructions given
personally I think thats pretty stupid, used amx mod :/ and also you need to send an email to us at rentals@nuclearfallout.net with instructions to modify the liblist.gam fileStep 1) unzip the contents of the cstrike folder in the zip in to your cstrike directory on your server.
kill server, when it reboots the hlguard and metamod are running
cstrike/addons/metamod will be the structure
cstrike/addons/amx
cstrike/addons/amx/plugins
cstrike/addons/amx/dlls
not
cstrike/cstrike/amx
cstrike/cstrike/dlls
cstrike/cstrike/plugins
test by rcon meta list
you should see amx mod in run state
and by rcon amx plugins
you will see the client exec plugin is loaded and running
Step 2) Test it.
test by "rcon meta list" (you should see amx mod in run state)
and then run "rcon amx plugins" (you will see the client exec plugin is loaded and running)
step 3) Using in game
bind a key to use in game. Rcon is required. TSO will have a menu button for TSO Servers.
bind "x" "rcon exec calserver.cfg"
You can replace x with your desired key.
calserverscrim.cfg
This will not toggleconsole, +showscores, take screenshots, exec lo3.cfg, change net_graph or anything other than config lock downs.
Great for scrims, pugs and pubs.

i deleted the wwcl files hoping that would make calserv work but now everytime you join the server you get a connection problem. friends are doing the same thing. im tired of dealing with it and wondering if edge100x or someone can just access the server and put calserver onto the server and fix whatever i fucked up. 66.150.160.163:27015 #muktuk-mafia CS 1.5 is the ip its a seattle internap server
If you see me in IRC I'll put everything together for you. However, you would have to give me your info so I can login to your cpanel to edit stuff. Or maybe edge, acura or tomas will do it for you. My advice is to go to #nfo-support and state your problem there and get it worked out. If acura or tomas dont answer then PM me and I would be glad to help.
[MM]Muktuk-McVeigh:
Your server is now enabled with both calserver.cfg and calserverscrim.cfg. To run them just type "rcon_password yourpasshere" (see my pm about that) then type "rcon exec calserver.cfg" or "rcon exec calserverscrim.cfg" without the quotes. It should then execute those files without error.
I have already joined your server and tested them out to see if they work and they did the way they were designed to. I also was trying to see if I could duplicate the "connection problem" and "flush entity packets" messages you were getting. I did not get any of those messages nor did I lag out on your server. I also have a Seattle server on Internap and I experienced the same connection on your server as I do on mine.
If you are on the Shaw network that could explain some of your problems. If are not, there could be a variety of things wrong. In my experience, "flush entity packets" and "connection problems" are usually a client side problem. If you and your friends are on the same network then that could explain why you all have the same problem. In any event, if your problem persists then it would be a good idea to get in touch with your ISP and let them know what type of problem you are having.
Hope everything works well for you. If you need anything else, dont hessitate to ask.
