I have a few questions, being I normally do everything from the server itself (virtual server we're talking about)
I currently have an X3430 that I paid 55% off for that has 2GB of RAM. It is running:
- 1 Killing Floor Server
- 1 Counter Strike Source Server (64 slots - not for me)
- 12 SHOUTcast Servers (46 Current Listeners)
- WAMPServer (Website)
I am interested in ordering the two core virtual, and want to run this:
- 2 Killing Floor Servers
- 1 Left 4 Dead Server
- 1 Counter Strike Source Server (20 Slots)
- 1 Team Fortress 2 Server (20 Slots)
- 2 SHOUTcast Servers (Will only get about 60 Listeners per week)
The X3430, when I checked it while looking at listeners, was using 1.02GB of RAM. KF Server was full and CSS had 15 players. On average, would the performance differ that largely?
The reason I am not running WAMPServer on the virtual is because I am ordering the Lite web hosting. But I need to know before I do so (I think I remember reading something about it, but just making sure), will I be able to run HLX:CE on it? I'll also be running a forum and sourcebans aside it.
Think that's pretty much it... I know everything else I need to know. The last time I had a two core virtual I had like 8 Full KF Servers running, one for every game mode and it didn't even reach full usage, but I want to make sure, or at least get some insight.
