I'm a proud user of NFO VDC for our game community, and our server works great, except for 1 thing..
Our setup is:
Two core: Perfect for 2-6 game servers or several large sites.
Two full, dedicated HT CPU cores (Nehalem or better)
2048 MB of RAM
200 GB of hard drive space
1000 GB of InterNAP bandwidth transfer
Running on Windows Server 2008 R2.
We currently only have 1 gameserver running + TS3, and during our games the server hangs for 1-2 seconds and everything freezes on screen(soldiers, vehicles etc.), quickly coming back to normal activity. That doesn't happen all the time but it's starting to bug us.
Monitoring the server with Windows Perfmon I've noticed that during the time that the server hangs, a process shows up, called: System Interrupts - Deferred Procedure Calls and Interrupt Service Routines.
Do you guys have an idea what could be causing that?
I've talked to TimeX from NFO and he said that it's a rather odd process name, something he is unfamiliar with..
Do you guys have an idea what could be causing that?
Thanks in advance,
