autoupdate dont work

I'm running centos, having problem get -autoupdate to work. I have it in the cmd line. Last night it would not update. Some where I red u have to edit the srcds_run script. Any sugestions.

If you're running an Orangebox-based game, -autoupdate wouldn't have worked last night, because Valve forgot to update the version number for the game. (They don't usually forget to do this.) You'll have to run this particular update manually.
