How to turn centos xen kernel to 1000hz !?!?

How to turn centos xen kernel to 1000hz !?!?

I would like to know how to turn the kernel of my dedicated server to > 1000hz> > cause actually on linux centos, its turn has 250hz default on xen server and i can not run my game servers > to 1000Fps because of it.

actually the machine running on CentOS Linux 5.5
server spect :

Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3470 @ 2.93GHz, 8 cores
16gb of ram
1000gb hdd

Kernel and CPU Linux 2.6.18-194.el5 on x86_64

I recommend trying the RH development tickless/RT kernel: http://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/vie ... mpost53261

Edit: You might also try the latest one here: http://glitesoft.cern.ch/cern/mrg/slc5X ... el-rt.html. They appear to be newer.
