I have a problem, I go into my server and open command and put in my rcon password Ex: rcon_password "myrconpassword" and become admin,
* Note I this is on Garrysmod and I am not using any other commands *I scroll over to the admin weapons and select my weapons, props, utilities, and nothing has happened it wont let me use admin Items I know im admin because it allows me to use admin programs and rcon echo " autokick is disabled"
With my experience with servers and rcon entering your rcon password does not make you an admin to do things out side of rcon. So if in rcon you typed in your password then hit enter and typed exec <configfilename>.cfg and hit enter it would execute the config. However if you type in your rcon password then close rcon and say try to click on an admin weapon it wont let you. I could be wrong since I am not familiar with Gmod however it seems thats the way it usually works.
If this is a 3rd party addon such as Sourcemod you will need to make your self an admin within source mod before being able to use the admin menu.

To become an admin on a Garrysmod server, you can edit the file garrysmod/settings/users.txt. There's more information on this in the GMod wiki here: http://wiki.garrysmod.com/?title=Player_Groups. By adding yourself in this file, you will also allow addons like ULX to recognize you (you can install ULX, which also requires ULib, via the "Autoinstallers" page in your control panel).
I know im admin because it allows me to use admin programs and rcon echo " autokick is disabled"
