User has high ping

A user of our server has a high ping rate. I was wondering if there were any ports in his firewall he should open in order to lower his numbers and help keep him from getting booted for being over the limit. This in BFBC2. I am aware that WOW has certain ports that if opened will help with this problem.

Is he using wireless internet?
You could raise the ping kick limit so he doesn't get kicked.

Thank you for the reply, but his internet is hard wired and still his ping will reach 300+.

I'd recommend having that user send us a copy of his tracert to the server and his IP address, so that we can investigate his routing situation.
