I am running a PERP2.5 server and i was ddosed earlier today, and my server crash in the middle of it. I then tried to restart it and got many errors so i reuploaded my files. I started it and it started up with 1 error "Failed to load Steam ServiceServiceStart: failed to startBOpenService failedServiceStart: failed to start" and wouldnt show up on the steam server list. It will say its Vac Protected and everything but it wont show up. If anyone can help if would awesome :(

I know that in other games, that's not a fatal error -- the game would just work anyway.

After you reuploaded your files, did you check to make sure that it's running the latest version of Garrysmod? Not running the latest version of a mod is the top reason for servers not showing up in clients' browsers.

Is it still responding to queries in general? Do you see it in favorites?

If it's not responding in general, then you may be under a query-based attack. Did you take a look with Wireshark to make sure that your query traffic is going through, and see how it might be responding?

Our network adapters wouldn't block queries from going through.
