Is it possible to have my webhost switched from php to asp.net?

We don't support .net on our shared webhosting here, as it is strictly Linux-based. You could purchase a Windows VDS and run your own copy of IIS, if you'd like, though.

Ok,... ok.... ok...

you've convinced me to get a vds. But, questions,

do i need my own licence copy of windows? i have xp, vista, win7 keys (all legit). then i will need to remote into the machine using remote desktop? If that is the case I can see myself needing just some setup asssitance then I can hit the ground running.

You don't need a copy of Windows for the server, as we provide that on our end.

How do I operate on it? Remote desktop?
