Could managed clients be able to install? I have 20 members in my community ready to play on release if you need some stress testing data ; )

Yes, if I am able to add it to the shared system, it can be added to managed servers as well.

net_ip doesn't work right now. It binds the net_serverPort to the IP correctly, but not net_serverPortMaster. But I believe that I'll be able to work around this.

Sim, sure, I'll toss up a link in a minute.

sere, the post you're linking to was mentioned a few posts ago, and I addressed it above with this:

I'm rolling out the Brink files nationwide right now. If you have a managed VDS or dedicated server that needs them so that you can start creating servers, please let me know in a support request. (If you have an unmanaged machine, you should be able to download them through hldsupdatetool.exe.)

As soon as these files are rolled out, I'll be able to activate it on the order page, with tentative pricing. With all of the bots in this game and its being based on ET:QW (which is fairly piggy), it will have to be a little more expensive than other games, for regular shared servers.

I see that it is on the Order page now...does this mean everything is stable enough to create servers...on a VDS?

Wow and I thought Homefront was a buggy SOB to deal with. For some reason Homefront and Brink do not like each other. Servers seems to stay running and fairly stable as long as Homefront is not running. As soon as Homefront is back up, server #1 goes down, and the others follow shortly there after.

They are all on the same IP, all have different ports though. This is quite infuriating.

Did you figure out the players dropping to 8 issue? Is it a bot or team balance thing?

Will NFO be able to provide access to the remote console?

Also something I've noticed, my 16 man servers drop to 8 players in this game today and I think it has something to do with the bots (not sure since im not home to see myself). This didn't happen last night, they stayed at 16. I even put the oldskool mode config in the server.cfg and restart. Oldskool is said to have no bots. Wierd.
