Crysis 2 Rcon in game commands, disconnect

Post by An0maly1 »

I can connect to the Rcon in game as per the instructions given by NFO (the host for the server I admin).

But the thing is I cannot logout, moreover, when I try a code that doesn't work it refuses to accept any other code, like its waiting for something.

Only one person can be logged in at a time and for some reason you have to send a disconnect command to Rcon in order to logout of it. But the thing is I don't know what that command is. Any ideas?

There isn't a disconnect command that I know of; so, to disconnect, you must break the TCP session. With an external rcon tool, you can do this by closing the socket. In-game, you likely have to disconnect from the server or possibly even restart the game client.

What I said applies to any tool and was more of a note about how it works internally, so it's only useful if you are developing one or telling a developer how to do it.
